Busybody Family, the church world is buzzing this morning! There has been a lot of "wahala" and "online petitioning" asking the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) to strip the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, of her pastoral title.

During the Holy Ghost Service yesterday, May 2, 2026, Pastor E.A. Adeboye addressed the matter head-on. He made it clear that the church will NOT be removing her as an Assistant Pastor.

WHY HE STOOD HIS GROUND? 🤔Old News: He reminded everyone that she was ordained over a decade ago, long before she ever became the First Lady. This isn't a "political" title!

💥He stated that she passed all the exams and met every requirement of the church, just like any other member. According to the G.O., she hasn't broken any church rules, so there is no reason to "sack" her from the altar.

🤔Pastor Adeboye is sending a clear message: The church is non-partisan and will not let social media or political "beef" dictate who gets to serve God.
