EMERGENCY UPDATE: IBEDC STAFF STILL IN CAPTIVITY!

Busybody Family, our hearts are heavy today as we follow the news of Seun Bakare and Idris Salami, the two IBEDC workers kidnapped while trying to keep our lights on.
It’s been five days since they were taken at Olohunde village, and the situation is getting more intense.
The kidnappers are reportedly demanding ₦40 Million to let them go. Even worse, the families are crying out for help, saying they saw a video of the men looking badly beaten and weak.
There’s also a lot of "wahala" online because the families claim IBEDC told them to "handle it themselves."
How can that be for people on official duty?
BUSYBODY QUESTION: Should companies like IBEDC be legally responsible for paying ransoms when their staff are kidnapped on the job?
Oyo and Ogun People: Are you seeing enough security patrols on that Ibadan-Ijebu expressway?
