BINANI DUMPS ADC, JOINS NDC IN 2027 POWER MOVE!

Busybody Family, the "Iron Lady" of Adamawa politics, Senator Aishatu Dahiru Binani, is making major waves again! Barely nine months after her big move to the ADC, she has officially jumped ship to the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC). The political chessboard for 2027 is getting very interesting!

Why NDC?

Senator Binani was formally received into the NDC in Abuja on Friday evening, May 1, 2026.

She explained her decision to leave the ADC, citing: 

She stated her supporters moved to the NDC ahead of her, and she had to follow their collective will. 

Her exit follows a "total loss of confidence" in the ADC leadership. Her faction was reportedly sidelined by a rival group led by former SGF Babachir Lawal, who is allegedly backing former Governor Bindow for the ADC ticket. 

Even high-level meetings hosted by former VP Atiku Abubakar couldn't fix the rift, leading Binani to find a "more viable platform." 

The 2027 Governorship Ambition

Binani isn't just joining for fun; she is clear that the NDC is the platform to finally clinch the Adamawa Governorship seat. She praised the NDC for its "policy-driven" approach and promised to maintain the interest of her massive grassroots base. 

 Analysts see this move, alongside other high-profile defections, as the emergence of a formidable opposition force to challenge the APC and PDP in 2027.
